1.10 Services for Guests with Disabilities
This purpose of this policy is to ensure equal access to library buildings, resources, and services for all guests, regardless of disability.
The Washington County Public Library complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and provides reasonable accommodations for physical access, communications, or other needs to ensure services, activities, and programs are available to people with disabilities. The Library welcomes service animals in compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice definition of service animals as outlined in the 2010 ADA Revised Requirements: Service Animals.
Questions about ADA compliance and complaints or suggestions about accessibility of library facilities, activities, and programs should be addressed to the Library Director.
