Mr. Ron Harrington, A.K.A. 'The Hawk Guy" will give an informative presentation on hawk identification, predatory characteristics and migratory patterns–some of which are directly over the Mendota area. This presentation will be during the annual Mendota Hawk Festival.
Come to the library during the Mendota Hawk Festival and learn the basics of creating lye soap using the cold process method. Supplies, safety, ingredients, saponification values and method will be discussed at this demonstration.
