Water Bath Canning

Please join us for a hands-on, food preservation workshop on water bath canning. We will be canning salsa as well as learning the science behind safe food preservation. All participants will take home a jar of class-made salsa! This program is in partnership with Virginia Cooperative Extension.
About our presenter: Andrea Wann is the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for Washington County. She has a background in nutrition and public health. She works in various program areas as an Extension Agent including health and wellness, disease prevention, food preservation, food safety, and financial wellness.
