Highlands Writers Fair
We’re doing something new – the Highlands Writers Fair.
The Highlands Writers Fair is Saturday, April 13 at the Washington County Public Library in Abingdon. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair is free and open to the public.
A collaboration between the Virginia Highlands Festival and the Friends of the Washington County Public Library, the event promotes “Read Local.” We’ll introduce regional writers to their neighbors and present workshops on publishing to experienced and emerging authors.
Be a part of the fair
If you’re a published writer who would like to participate by reserving a table to sign and sell books, submit an Author Application. The book fair is juried. The selection process is based on offering an assortment of subject/genres, high-quality books and writers who are serious about their craft.
Full information for authors is included on the Author Application. If you’d like to receive email updates on the Highlands Writers Fair, including notification of acceptance, you can sign up here.
The deadline to submit an application is Thursday, Feb. 28.
