SUMMARY:Water Bath Canning
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a hands-on\, food preservation workshop on water bath canning. We will be canning salsa as well as learning the science behind safe food preservation. All participants will take home a jar of class-made salsa! This program is in partnership with Virginia Cooperative Extension.  \nAbout our presenter: Andrea Wann is the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for Washington County.  She has a background in nutrition and public health.  She works in various program areas as an Extension Agent including health and wellness\, disease prevention\, food preservation\, food safety\, and financial wellness. \nThe class is free but registration is required. Call the library to register at 276-676-6233.
