Don't worry, the Library is prepared. Here is a schedule of events for teens at the Washington County PL (Sept-Dec):
  • 2nd Wednesday of the Month
    Teen Volunteer Club
    (Replaces the old Teen Advisory Board)
  • 3rd Wednesday of the Month
    Cover 2 Cover
    Teen Book Club
  • 4th Wednesday of the Month
    Teens Create: Art projects & crafts for teens

All meetings at 4:00 pm in the Library’s Conference Room unless otherwise posted

Teen Volunteer Club: "promoting volunteering in the library or in the community." Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Being a reading volunteer for children during National Children’s Book Week
  • Helping with the Not So Spooky Stories—Halloween program
  • Helping with the Holiday Make & Take children’s programs
  • Packing boxes to support the troops serving overseas

Teens that volunteer for 3 or more activities will be eligible to attend Late Night at the Library in January!

If you need additional volunteer hours for the Community Scholar Program please ask in the Children’s Department—we are happy to set individual volunteering hours as needed.
