The Washington County Public Library System strives to serve the public
in a number of unique ways. Our special services include: Assistive
Services
The Washington County Public Library System is committed to providing
accessibility to library materials, programs, and services to all
users. All staff working in public service areas of the library will
make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests from library users
with disabilities. If your disability is invisible, please identify
yourself as having a disability when you seek assistance. Staff will
make every effort to assist you in obtaining information from any library
equipment or resource that is inaccessible to you. For more information on

Center Cooperating
Collection
The Cooperating Collection includes print materials and computer
workstations to obtain online or electronic database information.
New online resources include access to the IRS 990-PF, which includes
information about the Foundation Center's funding priorities revealed in the list
of grantees and amount of grant. For more detailed information on
these resources click here. Meeting Rooms
As a service to the community, the Washington County Public
Library System allows non-profit groups and organizations to use Library meeting rooms to hold meetings, lectures, etc. Public meeting rooms are available in
the Abingdon branch, Damascus branch, and the Hayters Gap branch

here. Outreach
The Library strives to reach out to the community around us and extend
our services to daycares, adult centers and homebound patrons. |
