Learn the Net

Learn to use the Internet by clicking on the hypertext links that guide you to the information that is useful to you.  Beginners can "Master the Basics" or follow a 20 minute tutorial from this link.  A glossary and index are included to help in locating specific subjects and meanings of words.  Topics include learning how to connect to the net, using software to surf, searching for information and using email.

New User Tutorial (Northville District, MI)

Created by the TLN Technology Committee of the Northville District Library in Michigan, this site focuses on folks that are new to the computer.  The first skill taught is mouse practice.  Users learn how to hold, navigate, and click a mouse.  The next lesson is how to navigate a page with the scroll bars.  Other helpful topics include opening and closing application programs.
