A Tisket, A Tasket Tickets Available
ABINGDON, VA.
Tickets are available for A Tisket, A Tasket, A Literary Basket,
the annual fundraiser for the Washington County Library planned for April
2 at Jubilee House Retreat Center.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Washington County Library and the
Washington County Foundation Board, the event should prove to be a
fun-filled, entertaining evening where ticket holders can bid on baskets
filled with unique items and a book reflecting the theme of the basket.
In addition to admission to the silent auction, the $10 ticket
includes wine and hors d’oeuvres catered by The Vineyard.
The public is invited to this event to raise funds for a future
library building project.
Tickets will go on sale March 1 and
can be purchased at the main library and any of its four branches
located in
Damascus
, Hayters Gap, Mendota and Glade Spring and from Friends and Foundation
members.
If you have not yet agreed to sponsor a basket, there is still time.
Those who would like to create a basket should call either Susie
