GIVE
A GIFT TO THE CHILDREN OF
WASHINGTON
COUNTY
THROUGH THE LIBRARY “GIVING TREE”
Are you looking for ways to teach your child the spirit of giving and
sharing this holiday season? The
Washington County Public Library and 153 West Booksellers have come up
with a unique way for you to do just that, while helping the library
increase its selection of excellent new children’s books.
On November 22nd
a Christmas tree at 153 West will be decorated with ornaments bearing the
name of a new book the library needs. The books range in price from $10 to
$20 and you may buy one or more of these for the library’s collection.
The Library will place a bookplate thanking you for your generosity
right inside the book! You and your family will be able to come to the
library and check out the book you’ve donated, and lots of other
families will get to enjoy it as well.
The Library
Giving Tree will be on display through the end of December. This is a
great way to share the gift of reading with your community!
