AFTERSCHOOL STORYTIMES FOR 5 TO 8-YEAR OLDS

Join us for another great season of storytimes for school-aged children! Each week we’ll read some great books, sing a song or two, play games, make crafts, and gobble a snack. This is a great chance to enjoy some fantastic books, visit with special guests, and meet new friends! We’ll start Thursday, February 19^th with a Sports Program, including a martial arts demonstration by students from Huyler Karate. Other themes include Dr. Seuss’ Birthday, the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, Fractured Fairytales, April Fool’s Day, Pets and more. Certificates and prizes will be awarded at the final program!

The Spring Afterschool Storytime Session will be held each Thursday at 4:00 from February 19 to April 8. Programs will last about an hour. No registration is required. Parental attendance is optional. Programs will be held if the library is open, regardless of public school closings due to wintry weather.
